This is an ancient Japanese technique for preserving wood by charring it, burning it, brushing it, washing it and finally hydrating it with oil. Cracks may appear due to the fire, but they are stabilized so they will not get worse.

One of the largest centrepieces in the collection. Very organic lines and shapes, it looks beautiful in photos, I don't need to say it, but in person, it's simply mind-blowing.

I imagine a dinner at home, with friends, family, and this beauty in the center of the table, I'm sure it would not go unnoticed.

My pieces are for food, display or decoration purposes . The mineral oil and beeswax finish is completely suitable for food use, if applicable. Hand wash and dry, they need to be moisturized from time to time with oil.

Each piece sits proudly on the Nudo seal that is burned into the base, as a signature and seal of authenticity.
