Natural wood centerpiece or bowl finished with coconut oil and beeswax.

This piece is crafted from a single solid block; the legs are carved, not glued on. This is the challenge, and it is precisely these small details that elevate the quality of the piece.

Yakisugi Finish: This is an ancient Japanese technique for preserving wood by charring it. The wood is burned, brushed, washed, and finally hydrated with oil.
