Sapele, a wood now somewhat maligned because it reminds us of those 80s doors and furniture, considered outdated by today's standards. But this piece proves that with a contemporary design, wood can be equally beautiful.

Ebonized finish: This is a technique in which the wood is stained with a natural mixture of vinegar, black tea, and iron oxide. This mixture produces a chemical reaction in the tannins present in the wood, causing it to darken. It is a natural chemical reaction.
