Hand-turned European Oak wood vase

Vase or flower vase for dried flowers with yakisugi finish

This is an ancient Japanese technique for preserving wood by carbonizing it, burning it, brushing it, burning it again and finally hydrating it with oil.

Vase, piece of art? Well, it's up to you.

Vases were developed for ornamental or dry use, you can place a couple of your favorite dried flowers, or an artfully selected twig or two. Although you can also leave it as is, for ornamental use because it looks beautiful either way.

Each piece sits proudly on the Nudo seal that is burned into the base, as a signature and seal of authenticity.

Finished with multiple layers of pure Tung oil and micro sanding, smooth touch
